Dunhill Brushed Aluminum

Tied with its black leather carbon fibre brethren, we’re simply mesmerised by this series of polished aluminium trunks. I would love to have a Globe-Trotter on my next vacation as my luggage. It was so stylish yet not too loud. Durability is one of my criteria for investing in such a wonderful creation.

Gotten myself a number of luxe weekenders and luggages. but have never beared to bring them along on my travels, fearing mishandled luggages. Much irony. Why dun AugustMan do a writeup on proper care of luxe luggages on trips, or even maintenance for our luxe goods? I’m sure it will be a hit! Now hit me and send me to Club Méditerranée, so that I can put these to good use already!

@Joven35. Yes. The Globetrotters are extremely well-crafted and durable, but can get a tad heavy deending on which one you get. But as a owner of one, I say you should get yourself one too!

These luxe luggages definitely look good and I’d love to have them. But I’d rather use my tattered old bags for travelling. After all, after a trip, whatever you use will be dented and scratched anyway. Not to mention luxue luggages practically says that you’re rich enough to be robbed!

@tanbernard: Luggage care tips? That’s a great lead :) We’ll get right on it.

@chewsm65: Older leather bags do develop a nice patina with age. About getting robbed… well, do keep a look out for a Krav Maga story this January on Augustman.com :)
