
• Go where there’s a crowd.
• If you know the person has been doing it for 25 years and their mother was doing it before them and their grandmother before that, you can’t go wrong.
• A place which focuses on just one dish is usually good.
• Ask the local cabbies. Sometimes they want to bring you to their guy because they get a commission, but they won’t usually get a commission for recommending a street-side eatery. Ask your taxi driver where he eats.
