An enjoyable weekend is being able to spend quality time with the ones that matter most to you.
His work may sound severe but Benjamin Roberts doesn’t come across as a boring soul. The sporty Singaporean spends his time on soccer and music outside of the workplace, and dreams of setting up a family band someday.
AM: What are three favourite fashion items?
BR: My one and only item of fashion is my fiancée whom I take all my fashion advice from. From watches to shirts and shoes she is simply superb at that because of the comments I get from my dressing style.
AM: How would you describe your personal style?
BR: I guess it’s probably quite laidback with a sporty touch at times.
AM: What do you get up to on the weekends?
BR: An enjoyable weekend is being able to spend quality time with the ones that matter most to you. On Saturdays I spend time with my mum and fiancée while Sunday is usually a day of hitting the gym and football with friends.
AM: When was the last time you did something that you never thought you would’ve?
BR: I’m much more of a home boy and a family man and not much of a dancer and a clubbing person. Last month I made a trip to Aticca with a group of friends, hit the dance floor (which was a disaster!) and got totally wasted on my way home!
AM: If you could pick up any skill, what would it be, and why?
BR: I would learn and pick up the skill of practising medicine because I like improving people’s lives and giving sensible advice to people.
AM: Who, or what, is your muse in life?
BR: My muse is probably rock music.
AM: What’s your greatest regret in life so far?
BR: I think that my greatest regret in life is that I didn’t work harder when I was younger to become a doctor.
