I really do enjoy travelling a lot… embracing new cultures, discovering new places.

He’s very good at convincing people to do things that they don’t really want to do, but it appears that Jeremy Ward is just as susceptible to smooth talking, as a few encouraging words from friends (and a few drinks) led him to take part in this year’s challenge.

AM: Tell us more about yourself Jeremy.

JW: I enjoy playing and watching football. I play for a weekly Sunday league side which is actually in Singapore quite exhausting but a lot of fun. There’s the European Championships coming up so I’m quite excited about that. I’m hoping England goes all the way! I think football brings everyone together whether it’d be for the World Cup or for the European Championships, it’s something that everyone can get involved in be it just watching or playing.

AM: Is there anything else you like to do besides football?

JW: I really do enjoy travelling a lot. In my work, you get to do that here and there and it’s something I’d like to do in my free time – embracing new cultures, discovering new places. I’d love to check out Brazil one of these days for the Samba dancing and the World Cup in Brazil in a couple of years.

AM: Do you think being a lawyer aligns with your personality?

JW: I think being a lawyer does align with my personality to quite an extent. Being a lawyer you have to constantly listen to your clients’ needs and that’s something that I’m quite good at doing not just from a professional point of view but from a personal point of view. In addition to that, you’re constantly communicating with people and that’s another thing which I really enjoy doing which is interacting with different people on a daily basis.

AM: What is one thing you own that speaks of your personality?

JW: A football. Football is a big passion of mine. I actually support Fulham football club and there’s a very select club called the Fulham FC Fan Club in Singapore. For all you Fulham fans out there, you should sign up for and join!

AM: Tell us about the one thing you’re really good at:

JW: Talking.

AM: When was the last time you did something that you never thought you would?

JW: Skied in Singapore.
