Speaking of departures, Rene Liu was in town to launch both Rado's first mono boutique in Singapore and her very own Rene Liu Rado True Special Edition. How's this related? Well, it's in eye popping red and pushes the boundary of what's distinctively Rado.

Launching with the opening of Rado at the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the Rado True Special Edition- Rene Liu was in town to both officiate the opening and take questions at a media conference.

I'm sure her namesake watch is something that will attract a lot of attention, I'm just wondering if it's a good fit for men. Perhaps it's something that the ladies might enjoy.

Using uniquely Rado high-tech ceramics, the edition is crafted in Rene Liu's colour of choice- white. The high contrast red dial feels a tad "National Day" but accurately conveys her ambition and 'can do' spirit that is not dissimilar to Rado's unlimited spirit.

Each Rado True Chronograph Rene Liu Special is individually engraved with its own number and issued with a special certificate bearing the signature of Rene Liu.
