Crunched on time and on the go, Chris Rogers tells us with a Canon SX260 what perfection means to him and what it takes to bring him closer to it.

It was unfortunate that for the week when I had the great little Canon Powershot, I had to work everyday. So my plan to spend the weekend capturing perfection across Singapore was under very tight constraints.

At the same time, this heightened the challenge. I had to find what perfection meant to me, something I’m proud of, and what I want to aspire to – quickly.

Of my five images, three reflect perfection to me. However, it’s maybe not the conventional idea of perfection that many would first think of.

Docks: How could anyone deny the amazing efficiency and organization of such a place.

Working: Constantly upgrading and maintaining.

Swans: It’s hard not to find it within the Botanical Gardens.

That leaves two images – one of what I aspire to achieve. And the other, what I’m most proud of.

Lion: Symbolizing courage, determination, wisdom and strength, they are always in the back of your mind purring away.

Friends: It’s not the quantity, but the quality of real friendships that have been made. That’s what I’m most proud of.
