Introducing the Chuck Taylor II, Converse's revamp of the most famous sneaker...
You might have noticed a fresh face fronting Knightsbridge along Orchard Road in the last two weeks. The new prestigious shopping destination seems to be leasing out its shops bit by bit and surprising the stream of people waltzing by daily with new pop-ups once every few months. We had the grand opening of Topshop and Topman, followed by Brooks Brothers and we’re looking forward to the first Abercrombie & Fitch in the later half of this year.
But for now, be bowled over by the quintessentially American Tommy Hilfiger. The two-storey store spanning 3900 square feet is now the largest Tommy Hilfiger store locally, and the design inspiration for the store came from the brand’s first global flagship on Fifth Avenue in New York.
Swing open the doors and be greeted by the distinctive scent that wafts proudly through a new store. The eclectic trove also features an antique brass staircase, a tasteful glass chandelier and an over-dyed Persian carpet runner for a rustic feel true to the brand.
Then cue in on the SS2011 menswear collection for touches of varsity and contemporary which spell Tommy Hilfiger’s signature style this season. They have an indisputably dapper mix that is very well-appreciated, and we can't promise that your excellent self-control will have you staving off these.
