The holiday season is here! And with that there will a number of days freed up for you to catch up with friends and family. December is also the perfect time to curl up on the couch with your favourite shows. With that in mind, the major platforms have already lined up a number of hot shows to stream in December.

For starters, we have the return of Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime. Lovers of whodunits can look forward to another Benoit Blanc murder mystery in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Fans of The Witcher can also delve into the backstory of the fantasy series in The Witcher: Blood Origin prequel series.

Top model and Bollywood actor Malaika Arora is making her OTT debut with a reality show titled Moving In With Malaika. The actress gives a sneak peak into her life and takes on the trolls with this series. Sassy as the way she is, the series looks promising.

Like some of her contemporaries, Taapsee Pannu is too making her way into production. It will be Taapsee’s directorial debut. Helmed by Ajay Bahl, Blurr is a horror-thriller film headlining Taapsee and Gulshan Devaiah. From the looks of the trailer, it seems like Taapsee is playing a dual role in which one of the characters go blind. This one has surely piqued our interest.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season 3

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Surely one of the must watch shows to stream in December is Glass Onion. Daniel Craig leads a blockbuster cast as he reteams with Knives Out writer-director Rian Johnson for another whodunit. In the sequel, world-famous Detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a tech billionaire and his eclectic crew of friends. The ensemble cast includes Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline with Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista.

The Witcher: Blood Origin

Set more than a thousand years before the world of The Witcher, this prequel series centres on seven outcasts in the elven world who unite in a blood quest against an all-powerful empire. Blood Origin charts the origins of the first prototype Witcher and shows the ferocious trio — Elven warrior and sword master Scian, warrior musician Éile, and the vengeful Fjall.
