A new chapter commenced when Augustman Malaysia unveiled the fourth instalment of The A-List, featuring today’s passionate and entrepreneurial professionals. The Augustman A-List 2019 edition will embark on a specially curated adventure of a lifetime.
They will explore the latest in personal grooming, speakeasy bars, urban recreations and ports, fashion, motoring, fine whisky, watchmaking and more that are in tuned with the Augustman lifestyle.
Each activation is meticulously curated in collaboration with our official partners Mercedes-Benz (the Mercedes-Benz #MyUrbanHunting movement, inspired by its diverse and exciting range of premium compact cars, namely the sporty and stylish A-Class and C-Class, is the underlying theme); alongside the watch brand Rado, and Timberland, famed for its iconic six-inch premium waterproof yellow boots.
The Augustman A-List 2019 adventures began with a cocktail launch at Menara KEN TTDI, when Augustman Malaysia revealed its latest modern personalities who embody the magazine’s tenets of success, style and substance: Nick Marriott (fitness instructor at FlyProject and co-owner of Picnic Health Foods); Reza Ramli (director of strategic marketing and sponsorship for Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW)); Syameel Lao (director of photography); Darren Chong (senior associate of Jireh Consult); Charles Chua (corporate lawyer); Alex Hong (director of Hock Leong Shipping Sdn Bhd); Brian Ong (director of operations at AXA Partners); Azri Ibrahim (regional technical manager of Airbus); Syed Mohd Ilyas (founder of Sugar And I); and twin brothers Nigel and Neal Edwin (business development executives of Rent A Pot).
All 11 of The A-List personalities rocked up to the launch event venue donned in Timberland’s stylish yet functional pieces that best portray their personal style, topped with the latest watch novelties by Rado upon their wrists. Together, they joined their friends, families and other special guests and supporters of Augustman Malaysia in exploring the various activation booths set up for the night by the sponsors.
As delectable canapes from Le Meridien were being served, guests tried their hands on a two-part pour at the Guinness booth, while others enjoyed cocktail concoctions at the Bulldog Gin booth. Rado had on display its latest novelties at The A-List event, showcasing timepieces the A-Listers were wearing that night and more, whereas at the Timberland and the Mercedes-Benz booths, guests scrambled to take an Instaworthy shot respectively with the giant Iconic Yellow Boot, which last year just celebrated its 45th anniversary of quality craftsmanship and Yankee ingenuity, and the Mercedes A-Class A200 limousine parked on display at the entrance of the venue.
Towards the end of the night, three lucky guests walked away with distinctive and extraordinary prizes from the lucky draw ballot: a Sothys hamper worth over RM1,000, a two-day-one-night stay at Le Meredien Kuala Lumpur, and a keg of Guinness beer. The party continued on well into the night with eclectic music by local DJ Ashley Lau at the deck.
