Once a year, Pavilion KL revs up the Malaysia Formula 1 Grand Prix with its fashion Pitstop, featuring several days of showcase by clothing brands under the Pavilion roof. Joining the fun this year was the mall’s anchor tenant and the region’s leading department store operator Parkson, which took over nearly the weekend’s entire afternoon with its own fashion extravaganza themed “Fashion Spotlight”. In line with its rejuvenated retail assemblage and newfound love for the Korean Wave, the runway show featured Parkson’s latest curation of high-street brands including French Connection, Trucco, Daphne and Pepe Jeans; as well as Korean favourites such as SPAO, The Class, MIXXO, WHO.A.U and Shoopen.
Meanwhile, as our A-Listers carried on their journey of discovering the August Man lifestyle, we took the opportunity to work with our partner, Parkson, and send our A-Listers down the runway, for a taste of the fashion business. The guys arrived promptly at 11am for their hair and makeup and was pumped for the walk of their lives. First up, rocking the denim, street style in Pepe Jeans, we had David Ng, Sherman Lau, Cheah Ka Wai and Rizal Kamal, followed by Joseph Ryan, KC Ng, Wong Yu Jin and Raymond Khor, looking dapper and suave in SPAO. Short of breath from all the excitement, the guys revealed that the experience was at once terrifying and fun.
