For his recently presented collection at KL Fashion Week 2017, Joshua Fitton, creative director of Atelier Fitton, took the romanticised and rather antiquated style associated with Country Clubs and contemporarised it, taking it from the past to the present.

In conceptualising the collection, Fitton was clearly inspired by his English roots, basing his designs on the colours of the Union Jack but in different shades. The looks tell the story of a man trying to fit into the upper-class country club lifestyle. In doing so, he mixes and matches different pieces passed on from one generation to the next.

In its trademark style, the show opened with a kilt and closed with tux. In between, Fitton showcased his interpretation of country club style.
