It took COS 10 years to get from their first store along London’s Regent Street, to their latest chapter at Pavilion Elite in KL. COS celebrates the milestone with a 10-piece capsule collection that plays with the pattern-cutting process while re-imagining historical techniques to maximise the use of light fabrications like crisp cotton and technical polyester in a pared-back palette of sand and white.
Each garment’s pattern is created like a jigsaw, one shape coinciding with another, limiting any excess, and hence, coming together for a clean and considered collection with collapsing volumes and rectilinear silhouettes. Besides the women and children garments, the collection features functional double-pockets on the men’s technical jacket, and a Japanese-influenced top with square-cut proportions.
