The Lexus ES and Lexus RX have been a crowd favourite from the Japanese carmaker, and rightly so, as the amazing rides cater to almost any need and type of driver.
For those who prioritise luxury with performance and comfort beautifully packaged, and not to mention prefers sedans, would opt for the Lexus ES.
Then those who want more utility, without sacrificing comfort and performance, and prefer a slightly higher ride, the Lexus RX would be their vehicle of choice.
This was further emphasised by the brand’s local president, Ravindran K, who mentioned that both “The Lexus RX and Lexus ES have suitably played a key role in the Lexus family by developing a strong interest in the Lexus brand. They have continuously delivered an overall package that not only impresses from its design, but the high level of quality finish, equipment and luxurious drive have made these the best-selling models in the Lexus stable.”
With both the brand and its consumers appreciating both models so much, there was much excitement about the news of the availability of the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition and Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition released this 2021.
We take a closer look at both the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition as well as the Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition model:
Lexus Es 250 limited edition
The prime executive’s chariot, the Lexus ES is known for its sleek silhouette and coupe-like raking rear quarter. But don’t be fooled by its outer aerodynamic profile, for within there’s ample room for the executive on the move in style, dignity and safety.
Then what makes the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition remarkable is seen in terms of interior design. On the other hand, with the Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition, it’s the exteriors which is focused upon.
The inside of the ES 250 Limited Edition features an impeccable inlay of bamboo wood trim in the doors, dashboard, centre console and steering wheel. While offering a unique texture and a fine finish to the vehicle’s luxurious interior, the bamboo trim perfectly illustrates the role of a Takumi Craftsman who painstakingly sculpts and finishes each piece by hand.
Also being an eco-conscious brand, the bamboo that’s used was hand-picked from sustainable forests in Kochi in southern Japan, which lends the luxurious and beautiful accent to the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition while being environmentally responsible.
Available in Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, Graphite Black Glass Flake or Deep Blue Mica exterior colour options, its interiors would be paired with either topaz or black.
The Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition is priced at RM327,510.50, before insurance – better hurry get yours while the sales tax exemption is available.
Lexus rx 300 Luxury special edition
The Lexus RX has grown to be the SUV of choice among those who appreciate the Lexus build and attention to detail that rewards drivers and passengers. Regarded as one of the most refined and sophisticated all-purpose vehicles on the market, the Lexus RX boasts an impressive level of sophistication and craftsmanship.
While the Lexus ES 250 Limited Edition puts more emphasis on its interiors, when it comes to the RX 300 Luxury Special Edition, it’s the exteriors that are more pronounced.
What’s new for the Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition is that it joins the line-up alongside the Premium, Luxury and F-SPORT variants. This is distinguished by its exclusive aerodynamic body kit, as the new Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition captivates with a sportier outlook through its new front bumper spoiler, side skirts and rear bumper diffuser – as seen above as well.
In terms of safety, the Lexus RX’s adaptive high-beam system further comes with the world’s first BladeScan™ where blade-shaped mirrors in the headlights spin at high speed to vary the throw of the light away from other road users while creating good illumination elsewhere.
The Lexus RX 300 Luxury Special Edition comes in four main colours namely Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, Graphite Black Glass Flake and Red Mica Crystal Shine. And is priced at RM421,909.50 on the road without insurance.
