Giorgio Armani levels up with the Emporio Armani Connect line, featuring the brand’s first touchscreen smartwatch collection of new hybrid smartwatch models, and the fashion designer has one person in mind to help propel the collection into the world.

Not only that, he is also one of Time Magazine’s Most Influential Teens for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, and Forbes’ 30 Under 30 personality last year.
Noted for his embodiment of professionalism, commitment, innovation and style, Armani approached Mendes to be the face of the innovative line of smartwatches, believing that the youngster speaks volume amongst today’s youth with his genuine personality.

Compatible with both iOS and Android phones, and powered by Android Wear 2.0, Google’s smartwatch platform, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 smartwatch platform, the smartwatches use the Saved Faces micro app, which allow customers to stay in style with eight customisable watch faces and colour combinations, alongside the 11 customisable straps, which include stainless steel, leather and silicone.
The smartwatches will be available online and at Emporio Armani stores worldwide from 14 September onwards.
