130 years and still counting! Having stood the test of time for over a century, Braun Büffel truly lives up to the symbolic qualities of the company’s mascot and logo, the bull – strength, dependability and endurance. In celebration of its anniversary, the German leather specialist from Kirn, Germany, held a cocktail party at the Singapore National Gallery, hosted by the group’s MD and fourth generation owner, Christiane Brunk, with a special guest appearance by British star Orlando Bloom.

Bloom kicked off the celebration by raising a toast to congratulate Braun Büffel on its rich history and effort to be as contemporary today as when it started in 1887, producing functional and imaginative designs every season. Donning a charming navy Braun Büffel suit and timepiece, Bloom said, “I am excited to see what the brand has in store for the future, and the exciting developments and collections yet to come.”

With its history in mind, Braun Büffel presented a four-minute video animation showcasing the brand’s evolution from a family business to a global market leader. Speaking about the importance of Asia to the brand, Brunk praised Singapore for its business culture and fast-paced growth, saying, “Singapore definitely provides the passport for the rapid globalization of our brand. Not only has Singapore introduced us to the Asian market, the multicultural nature of the population has provided us with great customer insights. In line with our mission to provide top-quality merchandise to our customers, we promise to continue to revamp ourselves to match our customers’ ever-changing interests and demands.”
