The first images from H&M’s collaboration with Kenzo have been released featuring Chance The Rapper, Iman and rapper Suboi, wearing pieces from the collection. The campaign will feature a total of seven globally celebrated personalities from fashion, music, arts and activism, shot by Jean-Paul Goude, who used his signature hand-made cut-up style to express the exuberance and character of the collection.

The French photographer, designer, illustrator and film director who is responsible for some of the most visually arresting imagery over the past few decades created the campaign through his unique point of view, which will appear in print as well as on billboards.

“We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for KENZO x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection,” says Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Creative Directors at KENZO.

Jean-Paul Goude himself states; “Working with H&M and Carol and Humberto on the KENZO x H&M campaign is a real adventure. I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style.”

Also accompanying the images are three films by Swedish director Max Vitali, featuring interviews with Chance, Iman and Suboi. The full KENZO x H&M campaign will debut from October 17, starring the complete campaign cast with Rosario Dawson, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chloë Sevigny and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez. The KENZO x H&M collection will be available at H&M Lot 10 and H&M Avenue K from November 3, 2016.
