Known across Japan for their relaxed sartorial take on classic fashion designs, United Arrows & Sons bring the same design direction to an exclusive capsule collection with adidas Originals, with up and coming typographer MIKITYPE lining the text graphics that read “United Arrows & Sons” and “adidas Originals” in Katakana on the footwear and apparel.
The understated aesthetic to one of adidas’ most coveted contemporary models, the NMD_CS1 features a full textures Primeknit construction in black, placed atop the NMD’s signature Boost tooling with EVA plug inserts. MIKITYPE’s typography design appears on the shoe’s forefoot plug, heel straps and medial quarter, with a co-branded insole finishing.
Two colourways make up the adidas track suit, pairing a classic full-zip track top with a tapered track pant, and MIKITYPE’s graphics integrated into the three-stripes details and across the track top’s chest. The adidas trefoil branding on the left chest and thigh gels with MIKITYPE’s branding detail on the rear of each garment.
The capsule collection will be available exclusively online at the adidas online store from tomorrow, 25 March 2017 onwards.
