Fashion has always been a grand centrestage to express an idea, bringing imagination to life from sketch to runway. Let your imagination fly into Dior Men’s Summer 2020 collection, which by itself is an exploration of the very notion of constant evolution and a diligent study of a storied past.
Dior Men’s artistic director, Kim Jones digs deep into the archives of the Maison and injects the brand’s classic gems with a breath of fresh air by joining forces with multidisciplinary American artist Daniel Arsham. The New York-based contemporary artist works with sculptures, architecture, drawing and film that hinges on his take on fictional archaeology.
The result, a commixture of Dior’s legacy and futuristic outlook that we can’t seem to get enough of. Keep an open mind and see the extraordinary designs here.
The silhouettes are mostly fluid and gently structured, complemented by Dior’s emblematic relics under Arsham’s Future Relic series and a special capsule collection in collaboration with Rimowa.
Also making an appearance in Dior Men Summer 2020, in all its reinterpreted glory, the iconic Saddle Bag, Galliano’s newspaper print, floral brooches, Kim Jones’ debut Tailleur Oblique and suits with draped sashes.
