The abrupt ending to Lanvin’s winter 2013 ad campaign left us wanting more, no matter how many times we clicked the replay button. Another one of Steven Meisel’s marvels, “Men of Diversity” is a one minute long skit that is fun, elegant and completely unexpected (shown in the video above). The concept cleverly unites Lanvin Homme and Lanvin Femme in an intriguing 90s inspired video that presents a taste of the upcoming winter collections and the diversity of the Lanvin brand.
What is a Lanvin man?
Lanvin presents six men with their points of view, each expressing his take on Lanvin and the meaning of love. Lanvin Homme consists of sleek silhouettes and an unexpected range of details, from smart suits, printed ties to quilted jackets; the collection creatively exudes a diversity of masculine personalities but still retains its classic and romantic aesthetic.
What is a Lanvin woman?
Amidst the Lanvin men, top model Edie Campbell boldly explores her imaginary identities through six portraits that narrate the lives of different Lanvin women. From an aristocratic woman, a high fashion enthusiast to a hopeful romantic, Lanvin Femme focuses on the feminine perceptions of love, diversity and beauty.
