The patented English heritage fashion receives a shocking sportif élan treatment in a tongue-in-cheek wardrobe that acts as a love letter to the Sloane Rangers (the stereotypical British upper class). The rollicking pace is fuelled with a satirical air towards the tropes of aristocrats, as palettes of polo green, scarlet, chartreuse and tangerine pop compel the sombre sartorial shades and textiles: shell suits, alpine outerwear and cropped denim carry hunting checks and equestrian quilting; rugby stripes, argyle knitwear and fleece field capes clash with Harringtons, duffels and Mackintosh textures; whereas modern neoprene and hyper-real faux fur juxtapose with tartan wool overcoats.
