Technique meets tradition in Massimo Giorgetti’s latest menswear collection that evokes the saturation of the Venice Beach during sunset: coated Tyvek parkas wound with geo-grosgrain bands; sporty checks against snap studs, short shorts and stripes; Mexican blanket stripes and Baja knits fade into ombre rainbows; and “Trombetta” trousers flare over beaded sneakers. Pyrotechnic florals bloom in acid watercolours, where candy pink, saffron and lilac are surprising jolts against the earthy khaki and camel tones.
