Vibrant block colours of bright purple and bottle green are splattered across the collection of 1980s-inspired jackets shaped with a strong shoulder line and a single button, accentuating the waist to create a sharp and structured silhouette. Exaggerated, 1970s-style lapels with velvet detailing stand out at the other end of the spectrum, with seasonal oceanic prints inspired by Paul Smith’s many visits to the famous Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, as well as those that evoke a 1950s surfer spirit via the elegant floral formations, undersea corals and Japanese koi carps.
