Exit Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski and enter Spike Lee into the spotlight as he takes up the new — and totally unexpected – role as the new muse of Montblanc.
Surprising? Perhaps but not if you take into account the brand’s desire to honour “the stories of three inspiring individuals who passionately pursue what they love,”as it explains on its website.
The American director appears in a short film that looks back on the highlights of his story, and focuses on what made him want to pursue this career. He is seen writing with the luxury brand’s legendary instruments.
Entitled, “What Moves You, Makes You,” this series of short films also features two famous performers: British actor Taron Egerton, seen in “Rocketman” and “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” and Chinese star Chen Kun, who is also a singer and writer.
“Through each film we peek behind the facade of fame to see for ourselves what makes these individuals do what they do, what motivates them to keep doing it, and really, what’s moved them to become who they are today,” outlines Montblanc on its website.
