The Claude Bernard Artisan programme is now into its second year and aims to support local artisans and the traditional craft sector in Malaysia.
For this September 2017, for every purchase of a Claude Bernard timepiece at Parkson Department Store, customers will receive a locally crafted leather product from Artchala, as part of their partnership to celebrate local artisans.
Artchala was started nine years ago in June 2008. Today, Artchala personally hand picks her materials and tools to ensure that it allows her to showcase her product’s finishing to its best abilities. This is very much the same process that Claude Bernard employs in making its hand assembled timepieces where the owner of the company personally spends time to look through every sketch and detail of the watch.
Believing in scrutinising every detail such as the fine movements and cases of the watches that it hand-assembles, this partnership with Artchala underscores Claude Bernard’s mission to provide watch connoisseurs with extraordinary quality in the make of their watches at an affordable price range.
