Born in 2002 to the Seamaster family, the Aqua Terra is a classic interpretation of Omega’s iconic underwater sports watch, refined in style for everyday use. In keeping with the collection’s nautical heritage, it has over the years incorporated various features that characterise the seafaring lifestyle, most notably the teak-pattern on luxury yacht decks for its dial and the braid-pattern on sailing sheets for a series of rubber straps. For the latest iteration of the Aqua Terra, Omega has captured the symbolic colours of “aqua” (water) and “terra” (land) via two individual dials, namely blue and green, adding to the collection’s rich palette a refreshing boost of vibrancy in perfect harmony with nature, as well as further emphasising the perfect balance between urban style and maritime spirit that it is known for. Staying true to Aqua Terra’s established aesthetic, both dials are sun-brushed and distinguished by a horizontal teak-pattern, inspired by the wooden decks of luxury sailboats. The two new dials, featuring a symmetrical design with the date window at six o’clock and rhodium-plated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova, come in four new combinations of a 41mm stainless steel case and a choice of steel bracelet or matching coloured leather strap with croc texture.

Further complementing the ocean spirit of the timepiece is the wave-edged design on the case-back. Whichever colour you choose, expect it to come with a special red card, as the driving force behind the dial is Omega’s Master Chronometer Calibre 8900, certified at the industry’s highest standard by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). This guarantees superior precision and magnetic resistance, resulting from eight tests over 10 days. As with all Omega watches, the new Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Co-Axial Master Chronometer 41mm comes with a five-year warranty that covers the repair of any material or manufacturing defects.
