Here’s a look back at our intimate A-List 2020 campaign launch.
It is tradition for us over here at August Man to celebrate individuals who embody our tenets of style, substance and success; and this year was no different. This year, in partnership with belif, Chivas and Toyota, our annual list of A-listers
got together at Wizards at Tribeca – a sophisticated cafe right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Unlike before, and aware of the new norm, social distancing rules were observed and all settled for an intimate session in lieu of a grand party.
Our A-listers, together with their guests, arrived to the scene looking dapper and dashing as ever while they made their way to the photobooth to snap some pictures and partake in interactive installations by our partners, including a skincare product display by belif; a whiskey bar by Chivas; and a Toyota RAV4 display at the scene.
A welcome speech was given by Rubin Khoo, associate publisher of Burda Luxury Malaysia, to thank everyone for being a part of this year’s event. Then guests were invited to their seats to enjoy a delightful 3-course meal specially created by the team from Wizards.
As guests dined and filled the air with chatter, KC Yap, editor of August Man Malaysia, took to the stage to proudly present the recipients of the 2020 A-listers awards; which was followed by plenty of applause. Once the night’s agenda came to an end, guests bonded over more drinks and lingered throughout the night as new friendships and memories were made during the A-List 2020 launch.
