Eleven years is a long time in the world of publishing and in that time, AUGUSTMAN has grown from being just a monthly men’s title in Singapore to a Southeast Asian powerhouse educating the modern men in this region on the tenets of style, substance and success via a print magazine, the various digital platforms, events and workshops, and a lot more.
To celebrate, we threw a party at Cargo 39, a grungy location situated at Tanjong Pagar Distripark (that’s right, where all the shipping containers are), and invited our friends from all the different industries to drink, party, reminisce over the good times, and look forward to an even better future. Comedian and radio DJ Shawn Tupaz kicked off the festivities with a short stand-up set before DJs Aresha and Senja took over, accompanied by Budi from Wicked Aura and MC Kane.
The party also marked the end of The 2017 A-List campaign, an initiative that has been running for eight years and has now evolved into a club for like-minded men who would like to network with others over good food and drinks, and even better conversations and company. It’s something that we are immensely proud of, and it will continue growing over the years to come. We are already on the search for the group of men who will make up The 2018 A-List. You, dear reader, could be one of them.
