Singapore is fast becoming Southeast Asia’s party capital, judging by the three massive music festivals taking place at the end of the year. This year, our little red dot welcomes Ultra Singapore into the mix, joining ZoukOut and It’s The Ship. Are you ready to raise your hands in the air three times?

–

Ultra Singapore (10 – 11 September)

One of the grandest music festival franchises alongside Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival, the Ultra brand is finally properly coming to Singapore after its teaser event, Road to Ultra Singapore last year at Marina Bay Sands. This time the Ultra crew are transforming the premier address 1 Bayfront Avenue into an Ultra Park. Now that’s one hell of an entrance. Music acts such as Afrojack, Deadmau5, Kygo and Axwell & Ingrosso have already been announced for Ultra Singapore, with more expected in the coming weeks.

It’s The Ship 2016 (4 – 7 November)

Returning for the third year running, Asia’s biggest festival cruise is seriously going all out to entertain and drop the bass. If you’re not familiar with the concept of It’s The Ship it is quite simple. You get on board the ship, party all night until the ship docks at a neaby island (this year it’s heading to Penang), party on the beach, come back on the ship and party while it’s returning to Singapore. 2016’s captain is David Hasselhoff and while we’re not sure whether The Hoff can take the partying, we know the music will keep flowing thanks to Knife Party, Dada Life, Andrew Rayel and more.

ZoukOut 2016 (9 – 10 December)

The one that started it all. The patron saint of EDM festivals in the region. The Asian altar of beats and bass. It’s not the end of the year unless there is a ZoukOut and this will be the 16th edition of this annual rave. The first time under new management, ZoukOut will host headliners Hardwell and Zedd, with more names expected to be announced in the coming months. If this year’s ZoukOut will be anything like the last few editions we say go ahead and get your tickets already. It’s going to be a blast.
