Dolce&Gabbana are masters of creating covetable everyday objects, at price tags that put them in the category of fine art. As a follow-up to last year’s $47,000 hand-painted refrigerator, its partnership with Smeg continues this year with a bunch of smaller items – bougie kitchen appliances that include pretty toasters, juicers, kettles and stand mixers. Each piece pays tribute to Sicily – home to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana – with delicate floral and coastal motifs splashed all over.
Prices have yet to be announced. You will have to wait until 2018 when the collection officially launches here. Find out more here.
