Lego builders and classic car enthusiasts will want to get their hands on the new Lego Porsche 911. The new 1,458-piece set replicates one of the most coveted nameplates in automotive history. Best of all the two-in-one set allows builders to create either a 911 Turbo model or a 911 Targa.

Both versions of the 911 are considered icons and a quintessential sports car of the ’70s and ’80s. Despite its brick form, Lego has managed to recreate design elements that channel the essence of the ubiquitous German model.
The build recreates the aerodynamic shoulder line of the car to the angled headlamps and sculpted bonnet with Porsche badge. The set also includes parts for a rear-mounted flat six ‘boxer’ engine. Lego has also paid great attention to detail for the set’s interior.

The 2+2 cockpit features tilting front seats, a handbrake, gearshift, and functional steering wheel.
The beauty of the new Creator Expert Porsche 911 set is that both versions retain their respective powerful characters. The Lego Porsche 911 Turbo sports turbo badging, a wide rear axle, turbocharger, intercooler, and integrated rear spoiler.

The Targa version features a removable roof, which can be stowed under the hood of the car. It also features the iconic Targa Bar along with Targa badging and a brick-built wraparound rear window.
