If you’re an aspiring writer between the ages of 13 and 25, All In! Young Writer’s Festival is an event you shouldn’t miss. It is an annual gathering of writing mentors of various backgrounds and industry players in publishing, broadcasting, creative writing, blogging, screenwriting and journalism, and advertising. These professionals who have chosen to write for a living are perhaps the most suited individuals to advise young writers about the career they’re going to embark on.

The 2016 iteration of the festival saw 48 speakers shedding light on their various areas of expertise. This year the organisers, National Book Development Council of Singapore, is proud to announce that number has increased to about 85 speakers, including our very own managing editor, Darren Ho, who will be touching on the topic of magazine writing and evolving markets in Asia. Some other topics that will be covered include:

  • Cloud-based Writing Platforms
  • Speech Writing
  • Experiential Marketing
  • Writing for and by differently-abled youths
  • Comics Writing
  • Comedic Writing
  • Science-fiction Writing

All In! Young Writer’s Festival takes place from 10 – 12 March 2017, at *SCAPE Level 5
