Continuing its long-standing passion for the world of film-making, IWC hosted an exclusive “For the Love of Cinema” event in the Chinese capital to mark its first ever sponsorship of the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF).
Some 200 VIP guests and celebrities attended the gala dinner at the Ming Dynasty city wall in Beijing; including actors Francis Ng, Yu Nan, Julian Cheung and directors Chris Wedge and Li Shaohong.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the IWC Filmmaker Award to renowned Chinese director, Zhang Yimou.
IWC watches have been worn by leading actors in movies such as “Wall Street” and “Ocean’s 13”, and have also been prominently featured in American TV shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice”.
