2017 is coming to a close and we’ve seen fashion collaborations booming all year round. While some didn’t quite hit the mark, the others definitely got people talking, producing some of the most coveted pieces that were not only unique, but were also (and very unfortunately) available for a limited time only. Before we anticipate more of these in 2018, we look back and round up some of our favourite fashion collaborations that happened within the last 365 days.
Adidas Originals x Pharrell Williams

Why we love it: Besides the merging of the biggest names in the high street realm (aka N.E.R.D frontman and judge on The Voice Pharrell Williams and sportswear behemoth adidas Originals), the Hu Hiking collection boasts some of the coolest outdoor gear designs to date. Functional pieces like the hooded sweatshirt and leggings are met with bright colour blocking that only the coolest people on the street can pull off. We’re definitely getting our hands on this collection while it’s still available.
H&M x Erdem
Why we love it: Florals, ruffles and prints. You’d think they’re design elements fit for only ladies but Canadian-Turkish designer Erdem Moralioglu behind British fashion label Erdem made it all wearable for men in his collection for H&M. Our favourite pieces were the floral socks (which gives our office attire a subtle but surprising twist), floral hoodie (perfect for keeping us warm in the office), and the printed pyjama set which only the fashionably bold could pull off.
Uniqlo x JW Anderson
Why we love it: Japanese mass fashion label UNIQLO is no stranger to collaborations, but this one with Irish designer JW Anderson was the most anticipated one yet. And it’s clear to see why. The designer, who’s also behind Spanish luxury label Loewe, breathes new life to UNIQLO’s signature utilitarian wear with uplifting colour combinations, refreshing prints, and other design details that helps you stand out in the subtlest way possible.
Louis Vuitton x SUPREME
Why we love it: It’s no secret that anything elusive high street label Supreme touches will turn to gold. While the label’s collaboration with French luxury house, Louis Vuitton, received mixed reviews we couldn’t run away from the fact that there were several pieces from this collection that we wanted to get our hands on. The Downtown sunglasses, camouflage Bandouliere Monogram 45B keepall, and black Christopher backpack are top-picks.
Vans x Peanuts
Why we love it: Vans, the skateboard brand that made its Old Skool shoe design a brand icon, teams up with comic classic Peanuts for a full collection. Featuring illustrations by Charles M. Schulz of familiar characters like Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and friends from the comic, the limited edition pieces will bring nothing but cheer and nostalgia every time you put them on. Our current favourites are the slip-ons, cap, and printed T-shirt from the Christmas collection.
