We see them on the roads all the time, hogging up the tarmac and handled by soccer mums who are simultaneously on the mobile and man-handling their kids while trying to figure out which route to take on the GPS. Needless to say, SUVs tend to leave a bitter taste on our tongues. But Bentley’s new SUV, the EXP 9 F, presented at the Geneva Motor Show recently, has broken free of this stereotype. The vehicle is no less luxe than its Continental GT brothers or the Mulsanne, but offers a powerful sports allure that you don’t see in its other models – if the Continental GT was the Sean Connery of James Bonds, the EXP 9 F would be Daniel Craig. The latter has all of the former’s sophistication, but isn’t afraid to muscle in on the action when necessary.
