The second day of the August Man A-Listers 2013 Gentleman’s Code retreat saw an early morning trip to sunny Sentosa with the gents dressed at their sportiest. After the brain-teasing challenges of the first day, the men were excited to finally get down and dirty with the physical challenges presented in the Rat Race.
We brought the A-Listers to the MegaZip Adventure Park, atop Imbiah Hill where they were briefed on the Rat Race. The challenge was split into two different obstacles – the ClimbMax, an obstacle course 12 metres above the ground and a leap of faith at the ParaJump. The rules were simple – fastest man on the ropes, wins.
After strapping on their harnesses and sizing the course up, our 12 contestants took to the ropes to prove their speed and agility. As much as we intended to test the A-Listers’ courage, it seemed that none of the gents were fazed by the heights, breezing across the course and even dancing between obstacles (we’re looking at you, Mr Child). Ending the challenge on a happy high, the A-Listers were treated to a magnificent view of Sentosa as they ziplined across to Siloso Beach on the MegaZip where the winners were presented with their prizes.
