FIRST, Coach recruited Michael B. Jordan as the global face of its menswear line. Now, after its collaboration with Oscar winner Spike Lee, a Coach menswear pop-up store is now happening at Marina Bay Sands.
Themed with a Modern Active concept, Coach’s pop-up is taking place from 15 – 24 Mar, held in conjunction with Coach’s Spring ’19 campaign.
Bags for the modern man
You can expect a union of function and high fashion at Coach’s first men’s pop-up. It will feature versatile bags fit for the modern gentleman on the go, whether he is surrounded by nature or the urban city landscape.
This highly anticipated Coach menswear pop-up will showcase one of its latest and most prolific releases yet.
You love the brand for its bags, so here are the four you need to get your hands on when you’re there.
01: Rivington Belt Bag with Coach Print
Coach keeps the belt bag in season by taking things a step further with a multifunctional pocket inside and a zip pocket outside, holding your essentials close while keeping the hands-free design.
02: Signature Rivington Backpack with Coach Patch
Finished with the Coach Retro Graphic, this soft backpack is crafted in a mix of signature canvas, refined leather and eco-friendly Cordura fabric.
It has ample room for a 15-inch laptop, and multifunctional pockets to keep your items neat and organised.
03: Metropolitan Soft Carryall with Coach Patch
Fans of duffles won’t be disappointed with Coach’s offering of the duffle bag. With a tech sleeve to secure a laptop and multiple compartments to cater to your business needs, this carryall can be your gym bag or your weekender.
04: Signature Ridge Backpack with Coach Patch
Inspired by expeditions and the great outdoors, this backpack is loaded with rugged details like oversize pockets and webbing belts to make the bag adjustable in size. Exclusive to this Coach menswear pop-up, the Animal Graphic variant of the Signature Ridge Backpack will also be available.
Rolling out its SS19 collection
Coach’s first men’s pop-up here is one of the many efforts of its Spring’19 campaign. If you’ve been eyeing the latest pieces from its SS19 collection featuring a rugged romance in a post-apocalyptic landscape, there is no better time to grab your favourites.
Coach’s Spring’19 season places a heavy focus on the assembly and reconstruction of the American look. This means reimagining the Coach monogram with a vintage spin inspired by the late ’60s to ’80s.
Besides the tribute to Santa Fe’s vintage Ghost Ranch aesthetic, the collection featured a crossover from Disney, with innocent motifs of characters like Bambi, Dumbo and Pinocchio making an appearance in the designs.
Needless to say, the Spring ’19 collection has our brows raised. Coming down to experience the first ever Coach menswear pop-up store at Marina Bay Sands will be the best way to satiate that curiosity.
