He is a man who knows what he wants.
His look is sharp and thoughtful and never incidental.
He has tenacious ambition.
And he has a jacket on.
That is the man Thomas Wee thinks of when he crafts. Just like how his lines are precise, and his cuts clean, he knows exactly what makes a gentleman. A veteran in the fashion industry, he will present at the French Couture Week Singapore from 29 November to 2 December; a component of Fidé Fashion Weeks which is held at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
Over the 30 years that Wee has been on the scene, he has been hailed the “King of the Jacket” and shown at New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, inscribing his name on the international fashion map. He has gone on to launch several boutiques with ranges tailored to specific needs and functions, such as “Mixable”, a line for career wear, “Luxe”, a high fashion collection and “Made in Heaven”, his own bridal line. Synonymous with sleek tailored suits and immaculate fabric workmanship, Wee shows no sign of taking a back seat or slowing down. In the latest CNN Power List, Wee was listed as one of the 30 people who has changed the face of Singapore.
