Last month, Bottega Veneta presented its new envy-inducing Home collection at the annual Salone del Mobile and we’ve already made mental notes of the products we want in our own abode.
Besides his usual collections, creative director Tomas Maier worked with Italian designer Osanna Visconti di Modrone on three dramatic lighting pieces of varying sizes.
The centrepiece is the large-scale chandelier that first made its appearance at the brand’s store in Madison Avenue in New York (pictured below).

However, we’re eyeing the slim table lamp. The bronze exterior boasts the intrecciato texture that Bottega Veneta is famous for. Take a closer look though and you’ll realise that the iconic weave isn’t actually sewn into the material but casted into the metal using a special lost-wax technique, typically only used in sculptures.
The result is stunning.

It’s been 12 long years since Bottega Veneta presented its first-ever home item, a single bench Maier created together with the brand’s artisans. Along the way, the creative director has slowly but surely expanded his Home repertoire, working alongside some of the most esteemed artisans and ateliers to create his vision of the Bottega Veneta home.
You can see the steady evolution and expansion of its furniture range, which culminated in a dedicated furniture atelier in the Veneto region. The boutique opened its doors in 2015. We are honestly looking forward to see what Maier has in store for us next year.
In the meantime, check out our three favourites below.
