We’re getting closer to one of the most anticipated debuts for the spring/summer 2018 fashion week season. Clare Waight Keller will make her first showing for the House of Givenchy this Sunday.
The former creative director for Chloé is known for her romantic and incredibly soft approach to womenswear so it will be interesting to see what her direction for the esteemed fashion house will be. Teasers so far have included pictures and videos of cats and model castings. The only clothes visible throughout are a women’s lace blouse and a men’s tuxedo trousers.
Will the collection be more refined and sophisticated as opposed to Riccardo Tisci’s more edgy street-inspired designs? It does seem to look that way but to be sure, stay tuned to the live-streaming of the first collection by Clare Waight Keller which will see the combination of both menswear and womenswear. Bookmark this page and come back this 1 October, Sunday at 4pm (Singapore time).
