In the Emporio Armani FW21 collection, the harmony of shapes and relaxed elegance that form the brand’s essence are offered in a snappy, eclectic and metropolitan way.

As Emporio Armani adapts to the new norm, the Italian Maison presented its FW21 collection digitally with a personable and nostalgic touch. Influences from the ‘80s permeated the illuminated runway as the models strutted down the platform with dashes of bright colours, graphic motifs and unexpected accessories intrinsic to that era.

Armani’s pursuit for softness was translated into new shapes and functions as silhouettes were deconstructed and flowy. Coats were replaced by wide jackets with drop shoulders and hair lining, and were crafted from knitted or woven knit fabrics. Soft trousers with prominent turn-ups had deep darts and high waists – enabling ease of movement.

NODS TO SOPHISTICATED SLEEPWEAR

Collarless blazers reinforced Armani’s approach to soft silhouettes while pullovers, anoraks and blousons were elevated with luxurious materials like sheepskin and herringbone wool.

Worn with ties, tailored suits were crafted from denim-like material. The discreet black dominated as evening came. Its luminous and velvety finishing offered a subtle sheen that accentuated the look.
