SO it matters little where the fashion pendulum is swinging – from street-style fashion to preppy style and anything in between – sneakers will always have a place in a man’s wardrobe. Better yet, with the stream of new releases pouring into our office, at a higher frequency than usual, there’s plenty of options to pick from.
To help you navigate through the heaps of new arrivals, from Adidas to Asics, Nike, and Puma, now available in the store (or coming soon in days) here are some of our top picks (well, until the next pair of cooler kicks comes along).
The Gyakusou Collection by Nike and Jun Takahashi
Nike and Jun Takahashi’s latest drop is all about performance and style. The latest iteration of the Gyakusou Collection by the American sports apparel giant and founder of the cult brand Undercover is a series of running shoes, outerwear, shorts, and tights. By combining Nike’s expertise in product innovation and functionality with Takahashi’s design sensibility, we have a compilation of stylish running inventory dedicated to runners of all types.
Court FF Novak Tennis Shoes
Tennis players often spend more time picking out the perfect racquet than they do on the right pairs of shoes. Its importance is grossly underestimated. So to right things, and make it easier, Asics teamed up with Novak Djokovic to develop high-performance footwear for the Wimbledon sports. With inputs from the winner of 14 Grand Slam single titles, the footwear is designed to improve player’s maneuverability including sliding stroke, and lateral and medial foot movements. According to the Asics, it offers better agility, flexibility, stability, and durability. What’s more, they have been tested and given the stamp of approval by Djokovic.
Adidas Original Nite Jogger
RS-X by Puma and MTV
Puma Suede 50 global campaign may be over, but the German sports giant has yet to slow down on its partnerships for its new launches. The latest tie-up with MTV (also its second) celebrates the intersection of pop culture and sports fashion with new iteration of the RS-X Tracks sneakers. Details like bold pops of neon is one of the key features on the RS- X Tracks MTV Gradient Blaze in Puma White and Sweet Lavender as well as the RS-X Tracks MTV Gradient Gloom in PUMA Black. The collection also includes T-shirts, tanks, track tops and shorts emblazoned with the bold Puma x MTV graphic logo.
