Taking cues from its sporting and athletic heritage, Lacoste’s new autumn/winter 2015 collection celebrates the spirit of fierce competition and fair play. It’s designed by Portuguese Creative Director Felipe Oliveira Baptista and features playful, colourful themes, vintage detailing and quirky graphics. The brand’s signature polo tee has also ventured into bolder territory with loud colours and eye-catching camouflage prints. Sweatshirts, knitwear and chinos complete the contemporary line-up.
Its inspiration for menswear is also carried over to the brand’s new leather and canvas goods collection, albeit in more muted colours. With bags that won’t look out of place on the tennis court or in the office to masculine wallets and briefcases that hint at a man who works hard in the office and outside it, Lacoste has pulled out all the stops with this collection that won’t look out of place in the urban jungle or on the tennis clay.
