Here’s definitely not a fun fact. One woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 15 seconds. That’s one woman who is someone’s mother, wife, daughter, sister, or friend. It’s tragic.

So how can we help? Among many things, we can stand behind the Breast Cancer Awareness movement and support the medical bodies that are working to find solutions to the deadly disease.

To this end, the Estée Lauder group once again launches its breast cancer campaign. “Started in 1992, the annual Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign unites and inspires people globally in our mission to create a breast cancer-free world,” shared Margaret Chooi, managing director of The Estée Lauder Cosmetics (ELC).

“This year, we are pleased to continue our long-term partnership to support Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Our goal is to raise S$20,000, through social and fund-raising activities to support breast disease research at SGH,” she added.

One simple way we can support the campaign is by purchasing the limited edition products from six of ELC’s leading brands. These include Estée Lauder, Clinique, Origins, La Mer, Bobbi Brown and Jo Malone. Each of these brands is offering its best-performing products that we can use for ourselves, or as gifts to the women we love. Part of proceeds will be go to the BCRF.

Additionally, throughout October 2020, ELC is donating $5 to SGH for every public static Instagram post featuring the pink ribbon. So go use your Instapower for a good cause. Be sure your posts include the hashtags: #TimeToEndBreastCancer and #UnitedinHopeSG.
