Last year at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Genève, IWC Schaffhausen unveiled a new Portugieser collection, with origins linked intrinsically to marine chronometers. This year however, IWC takes to the skies inviting all who had the privilege to visit SIHH to fly with them. With the first Special Pilot’s watch leaving the IWC factory in 1936 they consider their pilot watches to be the most original in the market. This year they are back with an entire range of Pilot watches that bring back the spirit of IWC’s aviation legends while adding in innovative designs, sophisticated complications and a touch of top-quality materials. Here’s a teaser of what you can expect from them in 2016.
