The Bell & Ross range is known for their purposeful details and legibility. With the Skeleton Nightlum, the brand is exploring the concept of luminescence and their unfaltering legibility during both day and night.

The main characteristic of BR05 timepieces is its skeletonisation work on the movement. It highlights the beauty and sophistication of the fine mechanics and magnifies the mechanism by softly carving away all but the bare minimum of the metal. The result? A horologe known for its resistance and extreme lightweight quality.

Light It Up

Building on the initial success of previous BR05 skeleton models, the new BR05 attires itself in black with a hint of green. The black remains as Bell & Ross’s trademark colour, as well as the colour par excellence of the coating used on pilots’ watches to eliminate glare. The green is attributed to the introduction of Super Luminova to the BR05 for the first time.

The metal applique skeletonised indices and hands are filled with green-emitting Super Luminova C5. It is chosen specifically chosen for its pale yet strong green daytime colour and its exceptional brightness qualities.

The graphic dial, made from smoke-tinted sapphire crystal, boasts clear indications as well as great depth. The shape of the indices mimics a neon light strip installation, reminiscent of a new form of urban art. The hands represent lightsabers which seem to be floating weightlessly in the dial.

Equipped with a BR-CAL.322 mechanism and a 360-degree black PVD coated oscillating weight, the back of the model discreetly reveals the skeletonised manufacture movement.

The timepiece challenges transparency. The open-worked dial forms a clear window through which the movement (also covered in black PVD) can be admired. The display completes the lace effect of the cut-out badge and confirms its uncluttered style.

The BR05 Skeleton Nightlum is 40mm in width, made with a satin-finish and polished steel. It comes in either a black rubber strap for a sporty-chic look or satin-finished and polished steel strap with a folding buckle to complete an elegant look.
