When he isn’t busy acting as a business consultant with one of the Big Four, Sertac Tasdelen is working on his own photography interests, and on occasion posing in front of the camera. But if that isn’t enough to impress you, this gentleman is also an entrepreneur with his own business.
AM: What is important to you at this juncture of your life.
ST: I appreciate life, every second, every aspect of it. I value each and every second as valuable as all those moments. Tears, laughs, maybe a bit of both. Which consists the immaculate harmony of the universe. As long as you know how to appreciate the power of now, you have realize the beauty while you are passing by, instead of the vague image of the future.
AM: Your personal style and elaborate on that… your style in different scenarios
ST: I see style as character. Your words, your personality, how you carry yourself, not becoming victim of commercial fashion industry, rather being a brand yourself. Instead of a man carrying a brand, a man carried by brands. Style is what you got against life, how still you can stand. Style is who are you when you are naked.
AM: When was the last time you did something that you never thought you would?
ST: I punched someone.
AM: If you could pick up any skill, what would it be? Why?
ST: I would like to learn how to be political. As I never am. It feels good to say: “Hey, screw you!” But then you’d have to bear the consequences!
AM: Tell us about the one thing you’re really good at.
ST: I’m good at adapting to any circumstance, which I believe is the basic instinct of survival.
AM: Who is the most influential person in your life? Briefly elaborate.
ST: My mother! The most energetic, cheerful person I’ve ever met, who loves life, enjoys every moment of it, shapes her life with values and personal richness.
AM: If you could be a woman for one day, what would you do?
ST: OK, I will be honest; I would go to the woman’s changing room.
AM: A Man of Substance is….
ST: A man who knows himself, who is in harmony with life, and with universe, who is content, and aware; who looks as he is and is as he looks, and who enjoys the journey.
