After a gruelling series of challenges, the gents finally have a relaxed evening, enjoying a lovely paired dinner at Forest restaurant at Resorts World Sentosa, helmed by chef Sam Leong, along with plenty of drams of Chivas Regal whisky. Members of the August Man editorial team joined the guys for a lovely and laidback night of drinks and fine food. But post-dinner, a second dessert was served up: a new and final challenge to the guys. On each dessert plate was a name of a fellow A-Lister, and the guys were tasked to whip up and serve a best man’s speech for said A-Lister, in a matter of minutes. We gave them 10 minutes to prepare, during which a flurry of writing down thoughts and ideas took place, and while some of the guys looked wholly cool with public speaking, a handful were a little nervous. We sat them down once more with glasses of Chivas Regal 25, and after a few indulgent drams, they relaxed and delved into the challenge.
