Delicately constructed by artisans from Jaeger-LeCoultre’s métiers rares (rare handcrafts) workshop, the dial features a stunning handcrafted sunburst guilloche design that draws the eye in immediately with its interplay of light and shadow.
The surface of the timepiece is complemented by four perfectly balanced counters for the perpetual calendar (day, date, month, year, moon phase and security zone), as well as the customary hour, minutes and seconds hands. The moon phase at 6 o’clock doesn’t just add a touch of nostalgic elegance to the watch; look beyond its whimsical façade and you’ll realise that the engraved counter displays the moon’s waxing and waning phases for both the northern and southern hemispheres.
The new Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Enamel Chestnut by Jaeger-LeCoultre is a unique piece that’s powered by the automatic Calibre 868A/2 and boasts a power reserve of 70 hours. The watch also comes with an open case back and is water resistant up to 5 bars.
